My love for black & white images is usually reserved for portraiture photography, however,there are definitely times when black & white is relevant and somewhat stylish for landscapes. I am of the opinion these images command such conversion.

The most significant subject in these images is the mountain in the far distance; Mt Gundabooka. The mountain, to me, represents culture, identity, connection to country and my ancestors, moreover, my late parents. Whenever I visit this place I am at peace, I feel liberated from the chaos of this crazy world, nothing phases me as I’m lost in the enigma that is extremely evident. There is power within culture and it’s practice, it’s existence and survival must be treated with the utmost respect at all times if we are to maintain our identity.

Dilapidated windmills absolutely mind blowing to say the least. All 3 of these have their own character and attraction.
